The geothermal power plant Velika Ciglena, near city of Bjelovar, with a capacity of 16.5 MW - is first (and currently only) geothermal power plant in operation in Croatia. It is also largest power plant in continental Europe with binary technology (ORC). Power plant is in full production since 2019. Our engineers participated* in construction managing electrical scope of installation, testing and grid compliance procedure.

Services

At the time of construction our employees were working for Siemens Croatia (main electrical contractor) and Helb Croatia (electrical installation). Đuro Đaković was EPC and Siemens Croatia was main electrical contractor. Our engineers were “project manager for electrical scope Siemens” and “site manager for electrical scope Helb”.
